Message	13 miles south of Barstow at 3 a.m. in the morning--great experience!! What are my options? I probably overboosted and was told that the spark plug electrodes had melted off, then the pressure must have blown the oil out through the dipstick opening, and eventually the engine froze on me--most oil gone. So basically nothing of the old engine can be used, incl. turbos. Please give me some ideas and prices I might expect. (I am in Los Angeles.) Is an engine from Japan preferred over a junkyard find? Can one find a used and already modified engine (possibly bigger turbos and injectors etc.) or will people ask horrendous prices for such? Anyone who can give me some input, whatever it may be, is very much appreciated!!!!
